11th Annual Design on the Delaware Conference
This year's conference will run four days, October 29 - November 1 and feature 36 programs, 12 tours, trade show, two plenary sessions, evening parties and a . October 29th & 30th will feature 36 programs, 12 tours, 2 plenary sessions, and a full day design charrette.
Architects, landscape architects, planners and LEED professionals can earn up to 25 accredited CEH, CES, CM, and PDH equivalent credits.

New this year! Register to attend only the General Sessions and hear some of today's leading designers and thinkers. Registration is $50 for members of collaborating organizations/$75 for non-members for each session.

Design on the Delaware offers programs that were specifically designed for the conference orhave not been offered in the region. Programs provide an interdisciplinary view and often feature a panel consisting of architects, engineer, landscape architect, planner, owner, contrator or other design professional.
Cultural Sustainability: Rebuilding Dilworth Plaza will feature partners from Olin and world renowned artist Janet Echelman, designer of the Plaza's dynamic scrim fountain display.
City Branch Corridor: Transforming Industrial Lands for Community Benefit will discuss plans that would transform the abandoned City Branch rail line in Philadelphia into an accessible linear park.
LEED Fellow Scott Kelly will discuss Sustainable Sites Initiative and rating system and present a case study of the Chicago Navy Pier in SITES Rating System Case Study.
In the program Green Stormwater Infrastructure for Cities designers and end-users will share concepts from a national, interdisciplinary design competition and discuss the challenges of urban sites, public/private partnerships, and implementation.

Thomas Christoffersen, partner at the international design firm Bjarke Ingels Group, Ken Greenberg, former Director of Urban Design and Architecture for the City of Toronto, Cathleen McGuigan, Editor-in-Chief of Architectural Record, and artist Stacy Levy will offer plenary session presentations at 2013 Design on the Delaware.
